10 Experiments - Quest Series and the Naming Question
Hit 10 experiments before I knew it. Renamed Tab AI to TabQuest and thought about what naming means.
Somehow hit 10 experiments.
๐ฌ Double Digits
When I first started Park Labs, I put up 8 experiment cards. Most were just ideas back then. One by one they shipped as betas, new ideas got added, and here we are at 10. Honestly not sure I can manage all of them. Running 10 services solo sounds unreasonable.
But they don't all need to run at full speed simultaneously. Focus on what gets traction, let go of what doesn't. It's a lab, after all.
๐ Tab AI โ TabQuest Rebrand
Following ContentQuest and ConvertQuest, decided to unify the tab manager tool into the Quest series too. Tab AI โ TabQuest. URL changed to tab-quest.park-labs.com.
One thing I noticed about naming: having a series name makes new experiments feel immediately connected to the brand. Say "~Quest" and it clicks as a Park Labs experiment. Small thing, but this kind of consistency might help down the road.
๐ก Looking at All 10
Some are working, some aren't. fortune-today is slowly generating revenue, care-kiro is getting real user feedback. Meanwhile ContentQuest has almost zero traffic. That's the reality of experiments โ they can't all succeed.
๐ฏ What's Next
Rather than adding more, I should focus on what's already working. Especially care-kiro since it has actual users โ planning to spend more time there.
