LAB NOTE No.0122026.01.03Milestone
This experiment started while I was making a favicon for FortuneToday. On January 3 I launched ConvertQuest in beta, a set of free online image tools plus a file conversion API.

Table 1
| Item | Details |

| For | People who want to finish quick image tasks in the browser, and developers who need a file conversion API |
Making that favicon, it hit me: opening Photoshop every time for a simple image task is a pain. Favicon generation, resizing, compression... it'd be nice to just do all that right in the browser.
I looked around and there are similar tools, but most of them make you upload your images to a server, which feels a bit sketchy. So I set the goal of processing everything inside the browser.
Here's what works right now.
Most of it runs on the Canvas API, but background removal has to run an ONNX model, so it takes a while to load. That needs improving.
The plan is to keep the basic tools free and charge usage-based pricing on the API side. But honestly, the developer tools market is a red ocean, so getting traffic is the real challenge.
Park Labs' 10th experiment. Somehow we're already in double digits.
