Care-kiro Full Development - PWA Complete, Flutter Mobile App In Progress
Care-kiro PWA web app and landing page complete. Currently 10 users. Focusing on Flutter mobile app development.
Care-kiro is in full swing. Currently at 10 users.
๐ ๏ธ PWA Web App Done
Built it as a PWA first. Nurses need to access it on mobile in the field, and I didn't want to wait around for app store reviews, so PWA it was. Add to home screen and it works like an app.
Added offline support too. Visiting nursing sites don't always have internet.
๐จ Landing Page
Got the care-kiro.com landing page done. Since it's a page that nursing agency directors will see, I tried to make it look trustworthy, but I don't exactly have a designer's eye. Still figuring that out.
๐ Flutter Mobile App In Progress
PWA alone has its limits, so I started building native apps with Flutter. Considered React Native too, but decided Flutter is faster for solo development. The key is supporting iOS and Android simultaneously.
Thing is, it's my first time using Flutter so there's a learning curve. Got used to Dart syntax quickly, but the widget tree structure still feels a bit weird.
๐ What 10 Users Means
Numbers-wise it's nothing, but since it's B2B, what matters is that each user is actually using it daily. Right now it's mostly nurse friends, but the feedback from real usage is helping set the direction. Getting specific stuff like "this button placement is inconvenient" or "add this field to the log form."
Next goal: finish the Flutter app MVP and get it on the app stores.
