Built a tool that turns a single PPT into YouTube scripts, podcast scripts, and presentation notes. Not sure if anyone will use it.
Every time I finish a presentation deck, the same thought comes up.
๐ฌ Why I Built It
You make a PPT, then want to record a YouTube video with the same content, maybe do a podcast, and also need presentation notes. But rewriting everything for each format is tedious. Figured it'd be nice if AI could just take one PPT and generate scripts for every format.
Built a prototype using the Gemini API. It parses the PPT, extracts content slide by slide, and generates YouTube/podcast/presentation scripts from that.
๐ ๏ธ What Works Now
Quality is honestly hit-or-miss. Text-heavy slides work okay, but image-heavy or diagram-heavy slides sometimes lose context.
๐ฏ What's Next
There are already plenty of AI script generators out there, so differentiation isn't easy. Putting it out and seeing if anyone actually uses it. Park Labs' 9th experiment.
